Event is free- lunch tickets sold here! Choose all-you-can-eat BBQ or a boxed vegan meal. Ages 7 and under eat BBQ free.
The Lancaster County Recovery Alliance & The 521 Club are proud to host Recovery Day Lancaster/Recovery Rocks! in Buchanan Park.
In its 8th year, the event celebrates addiction recovery, and features the Walk for Recovery, a 5K, Lancaster County's largest Unity Circle, BBQ or vegan lunch, Recovery Rocks! concert featuring Octavia Blues Band, family-friendly activities (crafts, massage, games, Kids Corner), as well as fellowship and friendship. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.
EVENT 10am to 2pm
Recovery Day promotes a celebration of healing and helps to frame recovery as a healthy and contributing factor towards a strong community. Our wider community can see that recovery is happening and is worth supporting!
This is a smoke-free/drug-free celebration: children and pets are welcome. Lawn chairs/blankets encouraged. Bring the whole family- come be part of the fun!
Weather policy: In the event of bad weather we will make every effort to continue the event. It is possible, however, that all or some of the event may be cancelled if weather is bad. Updates will be posted to this page, as well as LCRA’s website and Facebook page.
Restrictions:
A substance-free, gambling-free event. Smoking is not permitted in Buchanan Park by the City of Lancaster.
